So, I am looking for some pieces for a new project and it seemed to me that B&B Italia would be just the ticket. I have a memory of this chair - from a Connie Lindor project I photographed for Met Home in Minneapolis. Now, Connie Lindor is an architect, interior designer and talent extraoridinaire (with Julie Snow Architects.) What can I say? She has more taste in a minute than most could wish for in a lifetime. So I saw this chair in one of her projects and i have wanted it ever since. And my rule is.... if I can't have it, then one of my clients must. So, I'll push it on a client. But who would complain? Isn't it just good???? With Donghia mudcloth upholstery, it will rock.

Next Chapter - More to Come

“Did you hear what she said? I asked Lee.
“Welcome to New York. She said ‘Welcome to New York.’”

“She” is a parent in Lee’s new class at the Rudolf Steiner School in New York City.
She stopped to introduce herself – and to welcome us.

It was beginning to sink in.

We were standing outside the Rudolf Steiner School just off Central park on East 79th on Tuesday morning this week. The policemen next door guard the home and offices of Mayor Bloomberg. Word has it Spitzer lives on the same block. We haven’t seen either of them.

What we have seen are the beautiful, fresh kindergarteners that will be Lee’s ”flock” for the next eight (?) years. We have seen and met many of the parents - anxious, expectant, warm, generous, and welcoming. We are moving to New York where Lee is taking the first grade at the Rudolf Steiner School.

It’s a new adventure and we are smack in the middle of it.
