What are you reading? What is not to be missed?

To the right you'll see a poll. I thought you could add to that list, but apparently you can't. So, just add your own list here as a comment and I'll transfer it to the POLL - so people can vote! Isn't that a fun little distraction in the midst of an economic crisis????

Please - I'm begging you to comment. I need some new books!

  1. I recommend reading anything by the author Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Two famous titles are 'Love in the Time of Cholera' and 'One Hundred Years of Solitude'. His writing is like being on holiday.

I often get bored with modern novels so often head for the classics. A woman just can't have enough of 'Jane Eyre'.

And lastly, 'Perfume' by Patrick Süskind. An interesting tale set in 18th c. France

    Happy reading!

  2. Thanks for the tips! At least 2 more months of winter in Minneapolis - this should help carry me through.
